When Was Scratch Founded?
1985 Marie Houston founded Scratch Nails in Stockholm, Sweden to bring glamour and influence to the bland tundra dwellers.
What Makes Scratch Products Different?
Scratch is a 5 free chemical nail polish line. That means that we don't use chemicals such as formaldehyde (found in chemical relaxers), camphor (a flammable, waxy substance that has strong odor), toluene and dibutyl phthalate has been excluded from our lacquers because these substances have been shown to cause sensitization in susceptible people. The goal is to have healthy nails and skin surrounding the nail beds.
Why The Different Names?
Each name has a story therefore each name is a memorable time in Marie's life, but the colors are also inspirational. The colors such as Hot Stuff are reminiscent to the song, Dusty Lavender comes from the beautiful, soft color of the flower and so fourth. Each nail polish color tells a story. A story that we will tell as we grow here in America.
Has Scratch Won Any Beauty Awards?
Yes, we have. We have been nominated and have won Elle Beauty Awards for our all natural product Nail Food. Nail Food has is made of natural oils. We all know that the nails are "thirsty" and so daily use of this product will lead to nail elasticity, a reduction of splintering due to using products that are not 5 free. Nail Food also stimulates nail growth. It can be used on natural or artificial nails however once you use it consistently your nails will be as strong and as long as artificial naturals.

Yes. We offer our products and services at 2 franchise salons Scratch Linnegatan and Pub Nails in Stockholm, Sweden. There we are able to take care of all your nail problems and give you solutions.
